this year for my birthday jeremy gave me a weekend away. i went and spent a long weekend in new york city and stayed with my sister holly and her hubby ty. it was so nice to have an adult weekend without any baby anything, and i finally broke the dry spell and went to a movie in a theatre. it had been two years! thanks holly and ty for being fantastic hosts and thanks jeremy for holding down the fort while i was away. it's a lot of work. i loved every minute of the trip, it went by way too fast.

Hooray for the getaway! We're so darn happy about it. You need more of those. So excited you got to see a movie too. Jeremy is a wonderful husband indeed for helping to make that happen.

Nothing like the fall in NYC! Looks like you're on the set of When Harry Met Sally in some of those shots. So glad you were able to get up there, and that Jer was so kind to hang with the Dezmo. Good moms are the hardest working individuals ever and deserve some r & r. Well done!
