grandma and grandpa lemmon

a couple of weeks ago david and diane came to visit us in dallas. it was great to have them here, and desmond just loved spending time with grandma and grandpa. everywhere he went he would say "come on grandma, come on grandpa." he always wanted them right there. while diane was here desmond started his art class at the science museum and he LOVES it. he loves to draw and paint so this is right up his alley. it was raining a lot that week they were here so we also went to the aquarium for another indoor activity. desmond had more fun just running around on the ramps then seeing the fish.

desmond's new thing is to say that he "likes" things.  yesterday it was liking different colors, today at lunch he kept telling me that he liked butter and sugar.  me too dez, me too.

we celebrated desmond's birthday on saturday so we could spend the day with jer.  we spent the morning at the children's museum and opened presents and had cake in the afternoon.  then we spent the evening with our friends at the neighbors pool.  it was a great day, and so much fun to see desmond actually get it and enjoy his birthday this year.

uncle jason

a few weekends ago uncle jason came to visit.  desmond loved having him here and we had a great time just bumming around the city.  we also spent a nice afternoon hanging out with jody (the oldest lemmon brother) virginia and there two kids, braydon and brooke at there home in allen.

summer fun

i haven't blogged in awhile, so this is my attempt to catch up.  a few weeks ago, i spent a little over a week in utah.  it was so great to be there and spend time with my family and friends i miss everyone so much, it was nice to just soak it in for a few days. jeremy unfortunately had to stay home, work was really busy for him that week.

then, the week after i got back to dallas, david and diane came to visit for a few days.  it was great to see them too.  we all had a lot of fun together.

desmond loves the vacuum.  he mostly loves to dance when the vacuum is on.  (the second round is a more interpretive dance).  who would have guessed he would be in the er later that night, sick as a dog.

sisters visit

holly and emily came last weekend for a visit.  it was so nice to have them here, it made me wish we lived a whole lot closer.  

unfortunately desmond was sick for a few of the days but they were good sports about it and we had a great time anyway.  love you ladies!  thanks for coming to dallas.
